Hands-on experience is the best experience and with the help of Catherine Lozano, the office manager at Coral Shores High School located in Tavernier, FL, the marine mechanic’s students will get the opportunity to travel to the Offshore World Championships once again.
At the Offshore World Championships last year these students had the opportunity to spend time in Key West while getting a taste of boat racing in real life. Race World Offshore is always very excited to host the marine mechanics class and their teacher. These students will get the opportunity to spend time with different teams and crew chiefs to get a little bit of a hands-on experience of what all the offshore powerboats engines and mechanical elements are like. They will once again get a chance to walk around the entire area and spend time with teams. Here, the students learn more about how they can use their Marine Mechanics schooling in a real-world application. RWO is looking forward to having Coral Shores High School’s marine mechanic students come down once again to spend time with us and all of our teams during the Offshore World Championships week!
