Race World Offshore is thrilled to announce that Monster Energy will be the official energy drink of The Key West World Championships and APBA National Series. This move demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to supporting extreme sports and high-octane events. We’re looking forward to what is in store for this upcoming season with the well-loved brand.
Starting April 28th, the first race of the season is set to take place in Marathon, FL, and Monster Energy will be front and center as one of the key sponsors. This is an exciting development for both Monster Energy and APBA, as it brings together two powerhouse brands that are known for their devotion to creating and enhancing adrenaline-fueled experiences. Fans of powerboat racing can look forward to an action-packed season filled with riveting races and top-notch entertainment with the exciting support of Monster Energy.
“As part of the new, multi-year relationship, Monster Energy will be known as the Official Energy Drink of the APBA Offshore National Championship Series, the Union Internationale Motonautique Class 1 World Championship and the P1 AquaX National Championship.”
– Dave Gowland, Monster Energy’s Vice President of Motorsports
Monster Energy also will be the Official Energy Drink of the 2023 Race World Offshore-produced, APBA/UIM Offshore World Championships, November 5-12, in Key West, Fla. In 2022, Monster Energy and the new Class 1 M CON team announced their partnership for the 2023 season in a joint press Thursday evening conference made possible—with the closure of Greene Street in downtown Key West—by Race World Offshore head Larry Bleil.
“I am excited to have Monster Energy not just as a sponsor of the APBA series, which we are co-promoting and producing with Powerboat P1, but as the Official Energy Drink of the Race World Offshore APBA/UIM Key West World Championships,” Bleil said. “It’s a perfect fit.”
RWO President Larry Bleil added: “We’re excited to partner with P1 and Monster Energy for the APBA National Series and looking forward to our new season getting underway with the RWO 7 Mile Offshore Grand Prix in Marathon, Florida at the end of this month.”
